My First experience with Clinique

I don't know about you, but I seem to spend a great deal of money on items of make up, that are just not suitable for my skin. Now because I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere, I buy the majority of my items online, which means I can't test them first.
For an awful long time it seems, I have been buying the wrong shades and tones, which is how I end up looking like an Oompa Loompa a lot of the time.
Now recently, while on holiday in Puerto Pollenca, I found a shop that sold the Clinique 3-step Introduction kit for Skin Care.

Now I tried this when I got back from my hols, and rapidly noticed an improvement in the way my skin felt and looked. I'd never tried Clinique before, as I always thought it was a tad on the expensive side and for older ladies. WRONG.
The amount of money I must spend on products I end up chucking in the bin or giving to friends, I probably could have bought the Clinique company!
So, actually having found a product I like and will use, economically works out cheaper, even though the initial outlay might be more.

So, while browing the internet one day, I found the Clinique website http://www.clinique.co.uk/ and found they had a live chat option. So, I started a live chat with "Angela", and we started chatting about my concerns and what I wanted out of my product. "Angela" was really knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was talking about. Our chat lasted probably 15 mins or so, and I found it really helpful. She explained that the orange look was because I was using foundation with pinky undertones, which is not correct for my colouring. She also asked what I wanted from my foundation, and I wanted long lasting, but natural looking.

This is what she recommended http://www.clinique.co.uk/product/1599/5238/Makeup/Foundations/Perfectly-Real-Makeup/index.tmpl in shade 4. She also said another one would be good, but I can't remember which now.

I made a purchase on "Angela's" recommendations, and it wasn't cheap, but not overly expensive either. A few days later, my goodies arrived, and I can't tell you what a difference it makes. It's a fab foundation, does what "Angela" said it would, and a little goes a long way, so I know it's gonna last a long time.
Finally, I can leave the house knowing I don't look like one of Willy Wonka's pals.

I would thoroughly recommend buying products this way, and I know when I need another make up item, I won't take a chance and I will go straight to Clinique.
Good job guys
